Frequency measures the number of times each in-segment household was exposed to the ad in your
order or a campaign. Measure + Report displays your order’s frequency distribution, which shows the percent of your target audience that saw your ad at different frequency levels.
Frequency is calculated by the number of times a HH was exposed to the ad and groups those HHs by % of total HHs for that number of ad exposures. This also calculates the overall average weekly frequency for all HHs exposed to the ad in your order.
How it’s calculated:
- Average frequency: the average number of times HHs in your targeted audience were exposed to the ad
- Of all HHs in your target audience, the average number of times a HH was exposed to an ad in your order was 7.9 times per week
- Frequency distribution: the number of HHs in your target audience segment that saw your ad at every frequency
- 8% of HHs in your target audience segment were exposed to your ad 2 times per week
